Description
The church was built in the 16th century by the brotherhood of the same name with the support of Petr Hektorovic. In 1783 a bell tower was added. In 1898 a side chapel was added. During this work, a mosaic floor of the former Roman baths was found under the church staircase. In the church there is an altar from 1774 by Andrija Bruttapela. On the altar there is a statue of St. Roch from an unidentified Venetian carving workshop. Every year, on 16 August, the St. Rocha, the patron saint of the city, when this statue is carried by the procession. The church was repaired in 2017.
