Description
The Krui Castle was the seat of the national hero of Albania - Skanderbeg. The fortress repelled the Ottoman attacks three times in 1450, 1466 and 1467, captured by the Ottoman army only in 1478 after Skanderbeg`s death. Destroyed in 1617 during an earthquake. The reconstruction of the castle was made in 1982 on the initiative and according to the plans of Pranvery HodÃ
