Title
A Gray Mockingbird Peeking Through the Branches of a Weeping Mulberry Tree #179408015
Description
You can count its feathers even though the branches of the Weeping Mulberry tree in the foreground are blurry. All puffed up with song, this gray adult Mockingbird is alert and enjoying the sunshine. Mockingbirds are very vocal, often mimicking other sounds and songbirds. They`ll repeat a phrase 2-6 times before shifting to another sound. Their Latin name, Mimus polyglottos, means `many-tongued-mimic`. In the Spring and Summer, they eat insects. In the Fall, they eat berries and other fruits.
