Decorated Film, television, and stage actor Brian Dennehy is photographed outside the Cort Theatre on Broadway after viewing a performance of a revival of `Ma Rainey`s Black Bottom,` on March 28, 2003 in New York City. Dennehy won 2 Tony Awards for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play for his work in `Death of a Salesman,` in 1999, for which he also won an Olivier Award in London, and Long Day`s Journey Into Night,` in 2005. He also won a Golden Globe Award, and was nominated 6 times for a Primetime Emmy. He was honored with a Joseph Jefferson Award for his contribution to Chicago theater, and was inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame in 2010. Dennehy died on April 15, 2020 at his home in New Haven, Connecticut at the age of 81 from a heart attack brought on by sepsis.
