Description
Southern Dragonfly is a species belonging to the dragonflies, found in Europe and Asia, common in Mediterranean countries. It is a migratory species, clearly expanding its range since the end of the twentieth century, probably due to global warming. Currently also found in Central Europe, among others in Poland. The dragonfly is chalk-blue, body length is up to 45 mm and wingspan about 68 mm.
