Description
One of the first neoclassical buildings in Lisbon, the palace is a building in the shape of an irregular rectangle. Each wing is occupied by various objects: the eastern and southern wings are occupied by museum displays of the Adjud palace; the north wing is owned by the Institute of Museums and Nature Conservation Instituto de Museus e Conservação and the Institute of Cultural Heritage and Archeology Instituto de Gestão do Património Arquitectónico e Arqueológico. The main facade with a tympanum in the center and side towers on the sides is oriented east.Two floors of the Piso Térreo Ground floor and Andar Nobre Knight`s floor are open to the museum.
