The Alexandria Library refused to send papyrus pergamon in order not to available less number of works from Pergamon library. But this embargo led to use extensively parchment paper in Pergamon library. In addition, The Asklepion of Pergamon was one of the biggest ancient hospitals. It was dedicated to Asklepios, the god of healing and here was also one of the first psychiatric hospital.
