Gang Rinpoche, the main peak of Gangdise mountain, is located in baga Township in the north of Pulan County, Ali Region, with an altitude of 6656m, and is recognized as a holy mountain in the world. Its mountain shape is easy to identify. The main peak is covered with ice and snow all the year round. It looks like a round pyramid. Its four walls are very symmetrical. It is surrounded by eight petals of lotus. The mountain body is built like crystal, like a jade inlaid ice sculpture with excellent skills.
