Description
Moscow, city day in Tsaritsyno on September 9, 2017. The upper Tsaritsyn pond is considered the most beautiful in the cascade. Its area is about 10 hectares, the maximum depth is up to 2 meters; the pond is formed by damming the rivers Gorodni Gorodenki, Yazvenki and Cherepishki Cherepishenki. The Small Palace and the Opera house face it a ramp staircase that has not been preserved led from the Small Palace to the pond, and all the pavilions of the landscape Park are oriented towards it. Notable artificial Islands: they appeared, presumably, in the middle of the XVIII century for the needs of breeding waterfowl.
