This is Yantian village in Nanpu Peninsula, Hainan Province. It is close to the sea. People here live by fishing and drying sea salt. There are a lot of big volcanic rocks here, which are used by local people to make salt drying tools. Because it`s tropical, and it`s very hot in summer, this picture is a local woman who is collecting and drying sea salt. She is wearing a hat, standing in the salt yard and using a scraper to gather sea salt into a pile. In the sunshine, these salt crystal clear, is a natural gift.
