Mayat and V. D. Adamovich authors of the project; Yu. I. chagovets construction supervision The Church was laid on August 12, 1907. The temple was built by V. M. Mayat in the style of early Novgorod architecture. On August 17, 1908, the cross and bells were raised to the bell tower. The largest bell weighed about 98 pounds and was donated by a member of the community N. O. Sushkin in eternal memory of the repose of his brother. On October 12, 1908, the Church was consecrated in the name of the Intercession of the most Holy Theotokos. The service was performed by the old believer Archbishop of Moscow John Kartushin. He was served by priests FR. Procopius Sorokin, Ioann Vlasov, O. Isaac Nosov, O. Elisha Melekhin Oleg Trofim Silant`ev and O. Iakov Nikulin. On November 8, 1910, the chapel was consecrated in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. The iconostasis of the chapel of fine work was built at the expense of S. p. Ryabushinsky and S. E. Trindin.
