Description
This fish is also called the river monster, Orinok catfish named for the bright orange tail fin. To date, the red-tailed catfish is the only species of its kind that has survived since of the ancient time , which was included in the international classification in 1801. Red-tailed catfish native inhabitants of the Amazon often call among themselves `screaming fish` for one of its features-fractocephalus emits a very loud, carried for hundreds of meters, trumpet sound similar to the roar of an elephant.
