Because of the Covid-19 global pandemic, as cities around the world figure out how to safely get their people outside, just to be able to walk and not be so cooped up inside all the time, as a way to release stress, they also realized the people are not driving so much, so do not need the roads as much. These roads are can become extensions of the sidewalks, to enable people to walk all together, but more spread out, for `Social Distancing`. These roads are blocked off, except for immediate local traffic, called 'Safe Streets'.
