This is a spring picture of the historic Kendall County Courthouse located in Yorkville, Illinois in Kendall County. The courthouse is an example of Italianate architecture originally designed by O.S. Kinnie in 1862, the rebuild interior was designed by Henry Hebard in 1887. The original building was completed in 1864 but destroyed by fire on March 25, 1887 with only the exterior wall surviving. The rebuild was completed in 1887. This courthouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 12, 1998. This picture was taken on May 22, 2020.
