Ruddy Shelduck swimming in the lake #184722370
Description
Ruddy Shelduck scientific name: Tadorna ferruginea is relatively large, measuring 51-68 cm in length and weighing about 1.5 kg, which is slightly larger than the domestic duck. The body is reddish-brown, with obvious white wing spots and copper-green wing mirrors on the wings; the mouth, feet, and tail are black; the male bird has a black neck ring. When flying, the black flying feathers, tail, mouth and feet, yellow-brown body feathers and white upper and lower wing feathers form a sharp contrast.
