Haverigg is a coastal village in the Copeland district of Cumbria, located about 1 mile south-west of Millom. Haverigg Pool, a small river, flows through Haverigg and joins the estuary of the River Duddon here. Haverigg was a small fishing village, which grew rapidly after Hodbarrow Iron Ore Mine was established nearby in 1850.
