Description
Hoopoe scientific name: Upupa epops has a long, wide crown on top of its head, which is fan-shaped. The Yan Bao is brownish red or sandy pink with black end spots and white secondary spots. The primary flying feathers are black, with a broad white horizontal spot in the middle of the flying feathers, and multiple white horizontal spots on the remaining flying feathers. The wings are covered with black feathers and also have wider white or brownish-white horizontal spots. White waist, black tail feathers and a white horizontal spot in the middle. Chin, throat and upper chest grapes are brown. The belly is white with brown longitudinal stripes. The iris is dark brown. The mouth is slender and curved downwards, black, light flesh at the base, and lead or toe of the feet and toes.
