White Lotus Flower opens on a green pond #186039319
Description
Water lilies are common in shallow water throughout the United States. They are sometimes intentionally planted for aesthetics or as a fish habitat, but can become quite prolific and create problems in some areas. Both White Water Lily and Yellow Water Lily prefer a muck or silt bottom, and can withstand a wide variance in pH. In the lilies of the wild, gardeners find natures full rainbow of colors, white, pink, red, orange, yellow, and cream.
