Tiny Fly Resting on White Hoary Alysum Flowers #186258726
Description
Many flies look like bees. You can tell the difference by how many wings the insect has. Two wings and it`s a fly. Bees always have four wings. This tiny fly with its two iridescent wings rests on the white flowers of the Hoary Alyssum, an invasive plant that can be toxic to certain animals, like horses. The Alyssum usually gets into the hay with very bad results for the horse. It`s a sweet bundle of flowers for these little insects, though.
