Amphibolips spp. A lemon yellow bumpy gall, known as an Oak apple gall. They are typically spherical, smooth growths up to 2 inch diameter and filled with spongy material. They are often found on a leaf stem or a vein in middle of a leaf, like this one. Red and black oaks are preferred hosts. Not sure which one this is.
