Description
In this monochrome rendition, French film director, screenwriter, actor, producer, film critic, and one of the founders of French New Wave cinema, Francois Truffaut, enjoys a lighter moment as he participates in a question and answer session and interview at the Chicago Film Festival in November, 1981. He won a BAFTA and an Academy in 1973 for Best Foreign Film for `Day for Night.` He was prolific, making 25 films before he died at 52 from a brain tumor on October 21, 1984.
