Peka cooking is a traditional Croatian gourmet food way of preparing food such as lamb,veil,turkey, calamari,octopus, ecc. with potatoes and veggies. The peka is a cast iron bell-shaped pot and lid and forms an outdoor oven. When the fire forms hot enough coal, the coal is shoveled on top and around the peka pot. Because it is covered with charcoal, the peka acts like a convection oven, perfect for slow cooking. *RAW format available at request
