Double-Crested Comorant: Squawking Bird Out On A Limb Stock Photo

Is it a squawk or a song? Is it a bird or a modern-day descendant of a flying dinosaur? Or is it simply a bird enjoying a warm early summer day by the lake in a New Jersey park? It is also a double-crested cormorant. Its habitat is usually wetlands or near lakes and rivers. Although most of this species have a lifespan of about 6 years, some have been known to live as long as 22 years.
