Ship wreck in Kanyakumari, India #18945433
Description
The photo shows a motor bike standing next to a ship wreck in the local fishing harbour in the town of Kanyakumari. The combination of those two vehicles gives an estimation of the size of the fishing boats in this harbour. Hundreds of small fishing boats anchor in this harbour. An interesting fact is that most of the fishermen are Christians who usually give their boats Christian names like Jesus or Mary. Kanyakumari is the most southern town in India and a famous pilgrimage place. It is located in the Indian state Tamil Nadu.
