Description
Blues legend Muddy Waters sings and accompanies himself on the guitar at ChicagoFest in August, 1979. Mississppi-born, he became a prominent of the Delta blues. A former sharecropper, he moved to Chicago at 30 and was a significant force in shaping the city`s blues scene. He has two particularly influential hits, `I`m Your Hoochie Coochie Man` and `Rolling Stone.` A singer and songwriter, Waters was an adept musician, playing guitar and harmonica. Waters succumbed to a heart attack on April 30, 1983 at 70 years of age.
