The Ponte di Mezzo, commonly known as the Ponte Conte Ugolino, is a bridge over the Arno in Pisa, Italy. It connects Piazza Garibaldi, north of the Arno part of the city called Tramontana to Piazza del XX Septembre, south Mezzogiorno. Built between 1947 and 1950, it replaces a three-arched bridge dating from the mid-seventeenth century, destroyed by bombing during World War
