Pictured is the side entrance to the narthex on the south side of Christ the King Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas. It is topped with a shield carved in stone. The shield is surrounded by the Palms of Victory. In the center is the Chi Rho cross commonly used as a symbol for Christ. On either side of the shield are the Greek letters Alpha and Omega, Christian symbols of the divinity and eternity of Christ.
