Domestic cattle or plain cattle Bos taurus is the domesticated form of the Eurasian aurochs. It was first domesticated for its meat, later also for its milk and performance as a draft animal. Since then, humans have bred a number of different breeds of cattle, in some of which wild cattle e.g. the American bison at beefalo have been crossed. Cattle are tip-goers and cloven-hoofed animals.
