A strange shaped broken Oyster found in Chilika Lagoon, Odisha, India. It was put in the frontal side of the boat at the time of photograph. It is a brackish water lagoon on the east coast of India. It is the largest coastal lagoon in India and the second largest brackish water lagoon in the world and has been listed as a tentative UNESCO World Heritage site. It has a great importance in tourism. It is the heart of the park where one can see thousands of birds descending during the migratory season. The vast lake contains about 150 species of fish, a wide variety of phytoplankton, algae and aquatic plants, and also supports over 350 species of non-aquatic plants.
