Description
Artificial lake Widas, is a reservoir located in Saradan District, Madiun Regency, East Java or 40 km to the east of the City of Madiun. Widas was built by damming the flow of Kali Bening and its tributary, Kali Petung, so the name of the dam dam is called Bening Dam. The reservoir water surface area is around 570 hectares with a normal reservoir volume of 33 million m3. At present the Widas Reservoir is managed by Jasa Tirta. North of the widas clear reservoir there is a mountain called Mount Pandan. The volcano has a resting and inactive status. The mountain is the border between Madiun Regency, Nganjuk Regency and Bojonegoro Regency.
