Description
A memorial at the entry gate to the Majdanek concentration camp. It was actually a Nazi concentration & extermination camp built and operated by the SS The Schutzstaffel on the outskirts of Lublin city during the German occupation of Poland in World War II. It is now Majdanek State Museum, first museum of its kind in the world, which is a memorial museum and education centre founded in the fall of 1944.
