Seddon House in the Barbican Estate in London 2020 England Uk #193376702
Description

Seddon House is a terrace on the west side of Thomas More Garden and it runs from Lauderdale Tower to Thomas More House. It joins Thomas More House at the lake end and then runs at right angles to it in the direction of the Museum of London. It is a terrace block supported on unusually tall columns. Seddon House is one of three similar terrace blocks on the Barbican Estate, with this one dating back to 1974 and with support from some tall columns. There are six floors, with the apartment on offer here sitting on the fourth floor of the block. The Barbican Estate is a residential complex of around 2,000 flats, maisonettes, and houses within the City of London in Central London, in an area once devastated by World War II bombings and densely populated by financial institutions. Originally built as rental housing for middle and upper-middle class professionals, it remains to this day an upmarket residential estate.
