Description
Sandbags are placed along the Mississippi River levee at Duncan Point outside Baton Rouge, Louisiana in order to help prevent sand boils which can undermine the levee. Mississippi River elevations are expected to reach record levels in the coming weeks. Standing water in image is seepage from the river. The U.S. Corps of Engineers has asked that no one visit the area to sightsee.
