Episcopal Liturgy, divine service and procession with the consecration of honey on the feast of the Honey Saviour in Central Russia. On this day, the Orthodox Church honors the memory of three shrines: the life-giving cross of the Lord, the image of the Savior and the icon of the Vladimir mother of God. The first day of the Dormition fast, from this day it was allowed to eat vegetables, the intensive collection of honey and its consecration began. Religious processions and water consecrations were performed on rivers, people and livestock were bathed in consecrated water, and wells were consecrated. This shot was taken in 2020 during the divine service of Metropolitan Kliment of Kaluga and Borovsky in the Kaluga region of Central Russia. Initially, the Metropolitan served the divine Liturgy, followed by a solemn Procession and the traditional consecration of honey.
