Description
The Temple Greenhouse was constructed within Croome Park in the early 1760s to the designs of Robert Adam. Constructed from Bath stone, the rectangular orangery building has a central pedimented portico held aloft by six Roman Doric columns.In 2004 the Temple Greenhouse was restored, work which included repairs to the roof, ceiling, flagstone floor and external steps. The interior was decorated in 2006 and finally, in 2011, replacement sash windows were fitted.
