Ravaldino Fortress, also known as Rocca di Caterina Sforza, in Forlì. It was designed in 1471 by the architect Giorgio Marchesi Fiorentino on request of Pino III Ordelaffi and was built in 1481, while the Citadel was built later by the same architect by order of Girolamo Riario, the new Lord of Forlì. When Girolamo Riario died, his widow, Caterina Sforza ruled the town until Pope Cesare Borgia c
