On the left side of the map, at the location of the city of Stavropol, the image of a straight cross is white. A line is drawn from it to the left and right, indicating the forty-fifth parallel of the northern latitude, on which the city of Stavropol is located and which crosses the territory of the region. The shield is framed by a wreath of oak leaves and wheat ears. The wreath is interwoven with a ribbon with the color scheme of the State Flag of the Russian Federation.
