Mimosa sepiaria Benth:Leguminosae, Mimosa deciduous shrub, up to 6 m in height; twigs without spines, bipinnate compound leaves, leaf axis spineless, pubescent, leaflets linear, leathery, apex with a small tip, midrib slightly on the upper edge. The flower heads are spherical; the flowers are white; the calyx is very small; the petals are oblong, the pods are banded and straight, and the pod nodes fall off and remain the pod margin when they mature.
