Pictured are the bird friends, part of a stainless steel sculpture created by Branden Oldenburg and Brad Ellum, part of a three-part sculpture series called The Traveling Man. All three are located near the Deep Ellum light rail station. Two of three stainles steel bird friends are seen in this photograph. Unseen just to the right of the birds is The Traveling Man, with a smile and a guitar as he sits with his legs leisurely crossed in a piece known as Waiting on the Train.
