Wairere Stream Just Beyond Taranaki Falls Tongariri National Park Royalty-Free Stock Photography

From the Taranaki Falls Track just above the Taranaki Falls we look over the Wairere Stream going west. On the left the escarpment of an old large andesite lava flow. In the front barren in the back forested. Just below the fall the riverbed is wide and stony, to the west it flows in a narrow gorge. To the north there`s the track on a plateau with low bushes and shrubs. The sky is blue.
