One of the traditional fired-clay pavements found in the Alhambra, Granada, Spain. Often used during the hispanic-muslem period between the 8th and 15th C. in Al-Andalus, it´s still beeing used in parts of Spain. During the winter months, moss may appear between the different clay pieces enhancing even more the interesting geometrical pattern created by the combination of the fired-clay pieces.
