Description
Body length: 80-90 cm. The largest domestic bird of prey with a wingspan of 240 cm. An adult bird colored brown with a brightened head and shoulders and a short, white tail. The beak is yellow, powerful, and the strong legs have unfledged jumps. The juvenile is brown with spotted plumage with a dark beak and tail that brighten with age and reach adult coloration after 4-5 years. White-tailed eagles build one of the largest nests of all birds. Used for many years, the nest can exceed 2 m in height and reach a weight of even one ton. Thanks to the protection of nesting sites, the white-tailed eagle has ceased to be a rarity in our country and its number is systematically growing.
