Bronze age artefacts have been found in the the grounds of St Mylor Church in Cornwall leading to the view that the site has an ancient past. The church was restored in 1870 and stands above the old harbour and Navy Dockyard. The memorial for the 19th C training ship HMS Ganges stands at the top of the churchyard. The dockyard is now a small fishing harbour with a watersports centre and a large yacht marina.
