Great cormorants in Teich Bird Reserve, France #200563948
Description
Teich Bird Reserve is 110 hectares of wooded area, reed beds, meadow, saltmarsh and water that has been made into a protected nature reserve, and managed with a view to attracting wild birds so that they can be seen at closer quarters by the public. The great cormorant is a large black bird feeding on the sea, in estuaries, and on freshwater lakes and rivers. Many fishermen see in the great cormorant a competitor for fish.
