In front of the Hunting and Fishing Museum in Munich is the sitting boar a cast of an original sculpture Martin Mayer (1976). Like the famous Sitting Boar at Florence's Mercato Nuovo this sculpture is of a boar resting its hind legs on the ground while perched up on his short front legs as if to have a look at something in the distance.
