Singapore - November 7, 2020: A bowl of Yong Tau Foo - a Chinese dish of Hakka origin, consisting of tofu filled with fish paste or ground meat mixture. Variation here shows stuffed vegetables and surimi, eaten with dry noodles and a dipping sauce. It is commonly found in parts of China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, and in cities where there are large Hakka, Teochew and Hokkien populations. Also spelled yong tao foo, yong tau fu, yong tau hu or yong tofu, and yentafo in Thailand.
