If the beaches of Pattaya or the small offshore island of Koh Larn are too crowded, the small island of Koh Sichang is a really worthwhile alternative. Sichang Island, not to be confused with Chang Island, is located about 30 km north of the city of Pattaya. The 4 km long approximately 1.5 km wide small island is an almost undiscovered jewel. At Koh Loi Pier in Laem Chabang, you can take a longtail boat for 50 sheets to cross over to the island.
