Dolls - Hindu Marriage Stock Image

This is a fine sample of handicraft Dolls. The Scene is of a Hindu Marriage. Marriage is perfomed by a Hindu Priest in the presence of near and dear ones, mostly in the evening after sunset. Bride and Groom are sitting around a Holy fire 'Agni Vedi', lit in the Middle of a 'Mandapam' a shelter erected in the court yard of Bride's Home. Bride-Groom vouch in front of holy fire, to be loyal to each other for rest of their lives.
