Pictured is the bronze information plaque for Encore Park, a project of The Stewpot of First Presbyterian Church of Dallas. For more than 35 years the Stewpot has met the needs of the homeless and disadvantaged. It will have an amphitheatre, a community garden, and a renovated recording studio and museum of street culture. The information plaque is on a wall on Young Street and part of the work commissioned to Brad Oldham and Christy Coltrin to create original artwork depicting the history of Dallas up to the 1930s. Ten bronze panels on Park Avenue are titled `Birth of a City`, and vignettes from these panels are used for four bronze panels on Young Street.
