Description
Pictured is a mural on a barrier wall between Forest Lane and the neighborhood on the North side, painted in 1976 by art students of Mary Beth Neale at Warren Travis White High School in Dallas, Texas. The 600 foot wall had been tagged with graffiti and was an eyesore until students created the colorful mural which has become a beloved landmark in the neighborhood, maintained by volunteers. This section features a white structure with 3 five-pointed stars hanging from it, and the sun and moon below it. The five-pointed star is a divine symbol of oneness.
